Now I feel unsure to add Pretendo to my Old 3DS XL because I’ve seen risks and the process has taken very long hits for me to add and I don’t really know if I can. What do you want to say?
Not sure why this has been tagged in support, but it’s relatively simple to get sorted once your console is modded.
As always, modding your console comes with risks and you should always be careful with what software you install. Plus, it isn’t endorsed by Nintendo, but I’m sure you know that.
You can definitely do this if you put your mind to it. The 3DS was the first console I modded 
I have an o3DS that is modded and uses Pretendo. If you follow the official modding guide ONLY (not video guides or some other source) at http://3ds.guide/ then modding is perfectly safe.
Then installing Pretendo after that extremely easy too.
