Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has been public for almost a year at this point.
Monster Hunter 4 that was recently made public is the Japanese-only one. They use different NEX servers.
We support both MH4U and MH4.

Any chance to add in the dlc servers for mh stories generations and double cross just curious since I like those games and patiently waiting till I can access em and would the translation patch for double cross work for online as well by any chance?
I am pretty excited in general and thx for bringing online back to these great games that me and many others grew up playing : D

Technically servers are ready for those games, but currently it’s a potential security issue as the game requires that the userID from the service token is shared with the download server in order for event quests and other bonuses to be properly saved to the save file as the save files for MHX, Gen, XX, and Stories were moved off of the cartridge and onto the sdcard in the extdata folder.
I believe there are plans for service tokens for 3rd party servers to exist but there is no ETA on when that could happen.
