Pretendo recently released an archive for all Dream Towns in Animal Crossing New Leaf for users!
For information about it and how to access it, please read the announcement post attached by @PN_Jon:
"As mentioned in our last blog post we have begun processing the data from our Animal Crossing: New Leaf archive. The first round of processing is completed, and we’ve started making this archive available to the public! Following this round of processing we will now be researching more specific areas of the data to see what we can find.
As of yesterday our upload the Internet Archive has completed! Anyone can now view/download the data from our archive. The archive contains data for 239,105 Dream Suite towns, totaling over 110 GB of data. The archive also has a separate SQLite database, which is only ~90mb, which contains just the metadata about each town.
Also mentioned in our last blog post, we are working on a website which lets you browse the data in this archive to see information about each town. Attached is a preview of the site (VERY WIP). As we learn more about what data is available to us in this archive this site should be updated to reflect that data. You will also be able to download individual towns from this website, if you so wish.
And finally, not only are we working on our own Animal Crossing: New Leaf server (which is in development!), we will be looking into hosting a “snapshot server” using the data from this archive. This (separate) instance of the server would essentially be read-only, and would let you interact with the Dream Suite towns from Nintendo Network prior to the shutdown.
If you’d like to take a look at the archive itself, visit us on the Internet Archive! Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Dream Suite Archive : Pretendo Network : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive"
This genuinely looks really cool and I’m glad we’ve been able to preserve things like this as a community!
