This might be a fairly bad idea considering in a lot of cases, Discord is probably better for matchmaking outside of friend code exchanges but I think this is something that might be worth proposing regardless.
Right now, we don’t really have any facilities for people to matchmake with each other on the forum outside of the friend code exchanges unless they DM each other. I propose that we make a new category specifically for matchmaking for this purpose.
The matchmaking category would be split into a sub-category for friend code exchanges and a sub-category for users who are looking to play with someone at the present moment. For the second sub-category, we could configure those threads to close after 8 hours of no activity in the thread (which I believe can be done).

Perhaps! Maybe we can make it auto-delete posts too like the FC Exchanges?
It’s only actually the main 3DS friend code exchange that auto deletes posts btw and that’s because there was quite a lot of posts in there
The other threads don’t really warrant it at the moment
Auto-deleting threads after being closed for a certain amount of time is a good idea though
Or at least auto-archiving

A) OG 3ds because original is better
B) Likes the 3ds XL because well, glasses
C) New 3ds because I need someone new
