A very minor fun event! (Pokémon Birthdays)

Hurry up… ok… let’s see… Spanish Shieldon, coming in from a Trainer called Lordragón…aaaaannnnnnddddd…

Done! Phew…

AAACCCKKKK!!! I can’t believe I forgot one of my OWN Pokémon!!!

Her birthday was yesterday, the 6th of April - but the only post I made that day was about someone else’s goddamn SHIELDON. But thankfully I remembered these 4 Pokémon birthdays!

Coming in from Charles, Tony, Goma (don’t ask), and William, respectively.

P.S. Now that’s THREE Pokémon birthdays I’ve forgotten: Articuno, Snorlax, and now Smeargle. I really hope I don’t forget any more, as tomorrow (8 April) is a big day, due to 9 Pokemon celebrating on it.

Yes, you heard that right.

9. POKÉMON.

Ok. Today’s the big day. 8 April. 9 different Pokémon. One of them mine. One of them whose Trainer name and the Pokémon’s OWN name being in Japanese (I don’t know ANYTHING in Japanese, damn it!). And all the rest!

Mata Hari, a Pokémon that I caught:

A Cottonee, formerly belonging to Chris:

A Rhyhorn who used to belong to Izzy (Really? Izzzyzzz, the famous non-binary video essayist, plays Pokémon X and they didn’t tell us?)

Sabi the Sableye, coming in from one “Reindeer”:

A Buneary, whose old Trainer was someone called Margarita:

An Oddish, traded to me by one “Ale”:

A Pidgey, who came from Sage (an IRL person playing at the same time as me and many other trillions of people who were also playing their favourite videogames online on the last day)

Aaaannnd the last former Pokémon Trainer of this lot with a readable name:
One “Hawke”, who traded away their Poocheyena to me.

Now, if anyone knows Japanese (@Accumala, maybe? You translated the name of Delphox’s former Trainer last Christmas, which is why I pinged you) - which I sinCERELY HOPE some of you do, then could one of you please translate this purple Vivillon’s name and his (Vivillon’s) former Trainer’s name? I’d be very grateful, as I do NOT know any Japanese. At all.

And that’s the end of the biggest lot of Pokémon birthdays for this year! The rest of this month will have way less birthday-celebrating Pokémon and it’ll be more sporadic. Also, I’ll be going interstate to see family this week, but I’ll still try and keep up with the birthday posts. I’ll be back home on Orlando’s Kecleon’s birthday (21 April), though.

ビビヨン
Viviyon
It’s the Japanese name for Vivillon

Thank you! By the way, how much Japanese do you know in general?

Today’s the birthday of one Magikarp - Mynoodlezzzz!

Don’t question the name. Please don’t. Also, his former Trainer’s name is WonderFuurE. Please do not ALSO ask, ok?

I know some Japanese. not a lot though

Oh, that’s pretty cool!

Oh, and this is the aforementioned Machop.

It must be weird, having a Trainer called “! ! ! ! ! !”
P.S. I can’t type the 5 exclamation marks properly, due to a weird glitch wherein the last two just don’t show up when I post it.

Let me try this again.

THIS is Machop’s former Trainer.

Oh, DAMN. I promise I didn’t forget about this double birthday ORIGINALLY, but then I guess I kind of did. It was supposed to be for the almighty Zygarde, Lord of Terminus Cave, Serpentine Ruler of the Dark, and the great and fearsome Mewtwo.

This is the only picture I have of Mewtwo, unfortunately.

And this is the Zygarde I was on about:

I’ll post proper pictures of them later.

Ok, here are the pictures I mentioned I’d post!

Their birthdays were yesterday (14 April).

Happy birthday to Xroy (I personally pronounce it “ex-roy”)'s Gothita and Shelbz’s Charmander!

The Charmander in question tried evolving a couple of times today, but I didn’t let him because I hadn’t uploaded these pictures here yet. I’ll let the Charmander evolve at level 30, though.

Update: it’s a Charmeleon now.
